Caring for heavy cotton

Heavyweight cotton is built to last. A few simple habits keep it looking new.

Wash

Wash cold, inside out, on a gentle cycle. Hot water and harsh detergents fade colour and wear the print.

Hang to dry in the shade. Avoid direct sun and tumble drying, which can shrink the fabric and crack the print.

Iron on low, inside out. If you iron the print side, cover it with a cloth first.

Fold rather than hang heavy pieces, so the shoulders keep their shape.
